From the Notebook….

When we first started the prayer revival back in Aug.2001 we put out a notebook and the people who came in to pray wrote out what God was doing for them as a result and what He was instilling in their lives...this section is all about what they wrote exact quotes and what God was doing for them...Praise The Lord....

8/10/2001 "He's standing in the threshold of the Holy Place waving to us to COME ON IN!! so close.. He says to sanctify ourselves."

8/13/2001 "I had been here once already earlier in the evening. I had to run home for a minute, when I returned as I sat my foot on the gravel in the parking lot. I felt an awesome rumble under my feet in the parking lot. I could tell that the prayers from within were shaking even the very core of the earth. Prayer is the key. Church we must not let this vision die!"

8/20/2001 "I find this hunger for God is growing in me. I want to stay in His presence more than anything else. We must go after Him with everything we have or we will miss this great move in which He has for us. I don't want to miss this!!! Church, we must continue to pray and seek God. We must not give up. God does not want for us to be comfortable. When Jesus hung on the cross He was not comfortable, but he hung there anyway. This is not a hard thing, we make it hard. Paul said I die daily. We must die daily to keep this vision alive."

8/26/2001 "Church we need to open our eyes. This is not about us. It is not just a name of the church or the Hungry House. It is about talking to God and not giving up on any visions we have. It is about keeping revival here in prayer and ministry. Do no think you made this happen.. because you did not. We are to be one and all of us together praying helped bring God in.. Don't forget that I cannot do it alone. You need help. We need to stick together..

8/26/2001 "The devil is not done attacking us yet church. Bro. Ray and myself had intended to go witness to the people at the jail tonight but our wives both came down bad sick and needed care. If he doesn't get to you directly he will cause circumstances around you. Remember we are soldiers. Just because he won this battle. He CANNOT WIN THE WAR!! Good soldiers do not stop just because they got knocked down instead they regroup and do it attack again."

8/28/2001 "God is saying He has prophesied LIFE into us by His prophet and that the hand of the Lord is upon us. We can take it and live or reject it and die. Also that He wants to make these dead dry bones to live and become an exceedingly great and mighty army for Him."

9/05/2001 "The Lord is wanting to give us fresh fire. Every night that we have come together He has met with us in a special way. Even though we are compassed about by the enemy on every side, the Lord has still broke through to give us just what we need. John 9:1- when Jesus passed by He saw a man which was blind, Jesus said but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. For this reason Jesus came by. Jesus went on to say that I must do the works that God has sent us to do. He said while it is day: the night soon cometh, when no man can work. As long as He is with us we can do anything. We may have to go to the pool!! Wash our eyes that we may see the vision again, but let us keep going back till we can see clearly. We know He will do whatever we ask because it is in the menu (the Word of God)."

9/27/2001 "This is not about us and who is not living the way that we think they ought to live. The Bible says our righteousness is as filthy rags, so why do we stand and try to judge anyone or the things that they do. Church it is time that we Stand and Pray !! We should pray for those people with love. Not what we call love. If we don't have that then how can we say we are better than anybody. We are not!! The Lord has given us this love and fortified us for a reason. Not to look at others and find faults. But he has done that for a reason. Because He is showing us the things that we are to do- which is to love, and to pray, and to get ready, and to help those that are in need. Not to bring them down- but to lift them up. It is time we learn what agape love is really about It is the love that is beyond all love that loves someone no matter what. As we stand in unity it is time to pray for those that are in pain, and if we think we find fault, then we should pray instead of judge, because when we judge, we are being judged, UNITED WE STAND; DIVIDED WE FALL!! It is not time for us to bring division. Let us pray for those that need it. Let us not have carnal eyes or a fleshly heart. But let us come into the spiritual realm. Let's get and catch that love that Jesus had for us and let us give it out to those who need it!! Praise the Lord!!!

10/08/2001 "If you want God to touch you in a way you have never felt before, you have to seek Him diligently, not wavering to and fro."

10/13/2001 "I sit here tonight with a thousand things going through my mind, and it all comes to one answer. One big question is: Where is my hunger, what happened to it? Is it still there or is it now gone? Will the Hungry House become a reality or will it merely fade to a what might have been? The latter portion of that statement would be a sad situation. Something I don't like to think about. To know I could be a part of something that God ordained and set in motion, but I took it for granted and let it pass on by. The hungry house is something more than just a name or a game. It is a great ministry, a safe haven, a place of refuge and safety. I still cannot keep from thinking that this is something that could spread through this country or maybe this world. If it ever was a time to be hungry for God and His glory. Then it is now. I still believe the prophecy that people all over the world would come to this place. Will we be faithful to build this or will we be found slothful? It hurts me to think God looked down all over this great big world and chose us to birth this great work in these last days. But it doesn't happen because we are not willing. I know each and every one are facing trials and troubles like never before, I am, but it is not about me, It goes much further than me and my household, The questions still go on. Will we see a great revival in Russell County? Will people's lives be literally changed; will the hungry house come in full effect? Yes or No? The choice is ours! We still must fortify!! And we still have yet to do that, But we still have time! Do not wait until later!!

10/18/2001 "Church it is time to Stand! Not to step down, I know it is getting hard, I know it feels like everything has taken a turn for the worse, but my bible tells me that even when we feel like we have done all to do what? To Stand! So it is time to do what ?Stand!! And to put on the whole armour of God, not part of it, but the whole armour , And above all to take the SHIELD OF FAITH!! That we shall be able to quench the fiery darts of the wicked!! That it is time to take the scriptures for what it means! Church it is time to stand not to fall and to give up but STAND!!!"
